Incase your not a computer and you can't read binary then the title of this post is in actual fact "8 Bit Fashion". I used a, good for absolutely nothing else but this, Binary Translator I found online, oh the joys of Science and the Internet. Any way, on with the matter at hand. As The Tandem Umbrella have started incorporating Game Boy's and other geeky tools into our music I have decided to run a post on 8bit fashion. Its a bit of a "Gotta Get Me One Of Those" kinda post with a theme thrown in for good measure.
Lovely and cheap which I like to hear. The emo in the photo put me off a little too, although for this money you can't go wrong really. I have seen shots of Deadmau5 wearing one before in a promo shot so just to let you know, he has been there and got the tie.
Next up is this charming "8bit Watch" available for (if you ask me over priced) $75 at MOMA store. I would love one of these but the price tag is ridiculous.
Next up is this "I Still See The World In 8bit" crew neck jumper I found on Zazzle.com for $31.75 which is a good price in my eyes.
I spotted this a while back on Enclothe, I dont know why I didn't pick one of these up before, I think the design could do with a little more style. Well you can pick one up over at Enclothe for $60 at the moment.
Next on Karmaloop I spotted this Duck Hunt shirt from Caked Out.
I saw the next two digital garments on Massive Feel. Both are based on NES (Original Nintendo) cover art work.
Last but not least is a couple of fitteds that will take some finding online as they seemed to be sold out everywhere I checked, although Ebay may be a great place to start.
New era teamed up with Namco and Taito to create Pacman and Space Invader 5950's.
I am about to upload some new recordings of a couple of our new tracks up on The Tandem Umbrella myspace today so check them out to hear some of our own 8bit tracks. They wont have my vocals in yet so you will have to wait to hear Megzy.
