Last week was the MTV European Music Awards hosted by the fashion icon that is Katy Perry.
I had the opportunity earlier this year to see her play at KOKO (formerly Camden Palace) and was pleasantly surprised by her on stage antics. I don’t usually follow the commercial pop scene, but I gave her a chance as my girlfriend was such a big fan.
Now she is dating London’s own Russell Brand and has fast become a huge fashion icon in the music industry well known for her lavish fashion sense and quirky frocks. Last week she hosted the EMA awards in Berlin, wearing a record breaking 13 different outfits through out the night.
She did not disappoint with her kooky out fits and covered nearly all the papers in the UK by the following morning. The one outfit in particular that everyone on this side of the pond was talking about is the West Ham United corset with matching hot pants she had made in the claret yoke and light blue colors. She also had “Rusty” sewn in with sequins to her rear, obviously she had this outfit specialy made in honor of her new hubby Russell Brand.
I have been winding my misses up all week saying how i am going to get her one with Arsenal emblems in red and white with MEGZY on the hot pants :-D What do you reckon? As always, thanks for reading!
